CSIA is committed to the elimination of residential chimney fires, carbon monoxide intrusion and other chimney-related hazards that result in the loss of lives and property. To achieve these goals, CSIA devotes its resources to educating the public, chimney and venting professionals and other fire prevention specialists about the prevention and correction of chimney and venting system hazards.

Midwest Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association
To provide regional service for members, HPBA supports affiliate associations across North America. Affiliates monitor local, state, and regional issues. Non-manufacturing companies in these regions hold membership through the affiliate, gaining HPBA membership at no additional cost. All manufacturer members hold membership through HPBA.
Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association
Hearth, Patio & Barbecue Association (HPBA) is an international trade association first established in 1980 to represent and promote the interests of the hearth products industry in North America. In 2002, the Hearth Products Association (HPA) merged with the Barbecue Industry Association (BIA) to form HPBA. The association includes manufacturers, retailers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, service and installation firms, and other companies and individuals - all having business interests in and related to the hearth, patio, and barbecue products industries.
National Fire Protection Association

The authority on fire, electrical, and building safety.

The mission of the international nonprofit NFPA is to reduce the worldwide burden of fire and other hazards on the quality of life by providing and advocating consensus codes and standards, research, training, and education. NFPA membership totals more than 79,000 individuals from around the world and more than 80 national trade and professional organizations.

Established in 1896, NFPA serves as the world's leading advocate of fire prevention and is an authoritative source on public safety. In fact, NFPA's 300 codes and standards influence every building, process, service, design, and installation in the United States, as well as many of those used in other countries. NFPA's focus on true consensus has helped the association's code-development process  earn accreditation from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

John Moustis
John Moustis is the owner of Spartan Construction & Design, Inc., dba Spartan Contracting Services. John started his career in home remodeling in 1980 working for others as a carpenter and tile setter. In 1984, he was employed by a major local lender to work as their Project Analyst, which is where he learned the process of submitting and obtaining VA, FHA, FNMA and FHLMC project approvals. While employed by a national lender, in 1991, he opened his own construction company called “Spartan Construction & Design, Inc.,” which is where he began his start in building new homes. After several successful years of homebuilding he became certified in 2000 as a HUD 203(k) consultant. After years of performing construction work, condominium project approvals and 203(k) inspections, John decided to create a second company called “Spartan Contracting Services”. This company was created solely, for the purpose of executing Project Approvals and FHA 203(k)’s. To this day, Spartan Contracting Services has submitted and received approvals for over 100 various properties across the country. Plus in this year alone, John has completed 24 HUD 203(k) Work Write-ups.
